About
Souls of Paradise Foundation successfully develops coalitions within communities to leverage, train, and link mentors to support individuals and groups in religious outreach, career exploration, business ideas and entrepreneurship. While providing sponsorship to talented members and the less privilege in our communities is our focus, we are acutely aware that capacity building and outreach constitute a significant outcome of our work. We nurture, foster development of “self,” allowing members to experience leadership and compassion in ways that will ever change their lives, and encourage them to find their passions — which lead to career choices that will provide them with extraordinarily meaningful lives and the capacity for “selfless caring.” This proven initiative and program started in 2014 as an outreach program that was primarily funded by an annual fund raising program. Mandated to provide religious, social, health and economic outreach to rural communities, we are honored to be equally providing mentoring, innovative career exploration opportunities. By the last quarter of 2015, a review of the outreach programming noted that we had achieved an extraordinary range of long-lasting and genuine collaborations with different communities. The authenticity of the partnerships created with individuals and communities was indicated by the increase in the number and evolution of programs over time—both to adapt to what had been learned through experience, to accommodate the needs and to take advantage of the expertise of members.” This is the rationale behind the foundation’s long-term relationships necessitated to meet the needs of both sides for human connection, a sense of genuine community and a sense of shared purpose to promote not only talent development, goal congruence, success and knowledge of possible career goals but also awareness and sustainability.
