What We Do

Gospel Outreach

In response to “The Great Commission” as Jesus Christ gave all His followers, Souls of Paradise Foundation (SOP) since 2013, has been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in Awutu Senya East Municipality, Awutu Senya West District and beyond.

Thirty-six (36) towns and villages have been reached with the gospel throughGospel Crusades, Rallies, House to house and Street Evangelism. These places include: Akweley, Ofaakor, Rock City, Gada, Kuvor, Alico, Bentum, Papaase Odunkwa, Papaase No.2, Kwao Bondzie, Papase No.1, Mankomeda, Yamoah Nkwanta, Jei-Krodua, Opeikuma, Lamptey Mills, Semanhyia, Domeabra, Denkyira, Nyanyano, Adom Estate, Adam Nana, Kasoa CP (Opeikuma Junction) among other places.

SOP from time to time also collaborates with other ministries for same purpose.

Secondly, in delivering religious services; ‘reach out’ we also have an educational role - raising the awareness of the communities about other services the Foundation provides (Mass vocational training, health education & free screening and distribution of gifts).

In contrast to traditional service providers, that required the needy to make the approach, we rather go to the needy and this service is voluntary.

Health Project

Health Education and Free Screening

The Foundation undertakes these activities to promote health and prevent preventable diseases. The diche - “prevention is better than cure” is the cornerstone of these activities.

In partnership with The Municipal Health Directorate (ASEM), The District Health Directorate (ASWD), Ghana Aids Commission and The Coalition of NGOs in Health (Central Region), Souls of Paradise has designed and implemented programs like clean up campaigns, Health education and free screening that have imposed a rather proactive and disease preventing perspective to combating diseases.

These have been done in many communities, providing practical skills and a sound knowledge of community health and health promotion theories, competence necessary to act as liaisons between healthcare providers and consumers.

Our health education and free screening have positively influenced the health behavior of individuals of the many communities we have visited.

Social Intervention Program (Educational Projects)

Advocacy & Awareness Projects

The rationale here is to provide education on certain trades or crafts with emphasis on the individuals choice of pursuit.

This has provided job-specific technical training for trades such as catering, soap making, floral decoration, bead making, beauty therapy, fashion and designing, batik tie & dye IT training among others.

These activities generally focus on providing learners with hands-on instructions and ends with certification.

They also give applicants an edge in job searches, since they provide applicants the required certifiable knowledge to enter the field.

One hundred and five (105) women have been trained in the above mentioned vocational disciplines of which some are doing well in their own businesses.
